McKool Smith hosted its annual Women’s Leadership Development Forum at the Miraval Resort & Spa in Austin. The Forum focused on “Finding your Power” through business development, leadership, and mentorship and encouraged us to connect with our female colleagues from all seven of McKool Smith’s offices. Along with amazing in-house counsel panelists, we were thrilled to have trailblazers and thought leaders join us at the Forum.
Speakers included Kim Stuart, Founder and President of Key Group, who spoke on business development in her presentation entitled "Finding your Power." Stephanie Scharf, a leading authority for the advancement of women in the legal profession, encouraged our participants with a session entitled "Power Up: Women as Leaders and Mentors." Sarha Alsaidi, a PhD in counseling psychology, hosted a Microintervention Workshop focused on self-reflection, awareness, and critical consciousness.
