New York Associate Kevin Schubert was the featured speaker at the Intellectual Property Owners Association’s (IPO) conference on June 11, 2019. Kevin spoke about recent trends in how district courts are applying estoppel following Inter-Partes Review (IPR) of a patent at the U.S. Patent Office. The IPO’s Post-Grant Committee includes in-house counsel from IGT, InterDigital, DuPont, 3M, Merck, Micron, and other corporations. Kevin Schubert and New York Principal Brett Cooper recently published two articles in Law360 regarding the subject of IPR estoppel.
