Law360 article reported U.S. Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Spero denied the majority of Uber’s bid against claims proposed by Sidecar Technology Inc. that the ride hailing giant’s predatory pricing and underhand tactics drove competitors out of business. The Judge ruled that “Sidecar has sufficiently pled that Uber's competitor Lyft Inc. is unable to respond effectively or increase its share of rides as a restraint on Uber's pricing, ‘in part due to the network effects of Uber's market dominance.’” Sidecar Technology Inc. is represented by McKool Smith principals Lewis LeClair and Kirk Dillman.
