The National Board of Trial Advocacy, who for years has handled board certifications across the U.S. for trial lawyers in civil, criminal, and family law is now offering a certification in patent litigation. The Honorable Judge Rodney Gilstrap spearheaded the effort to create this specialty certification, along with other patent trial lawyers, to establish experience qualifications and formulate exam questions. The goal was to create a board certification that confirms the confidence that a lawyer awarded certification is unquestionably one of the nation’s top-tier patent trial lawyers.
