McKool Smith Principal Jennifer Truelove has once again been named among the "Elite Women of the Plaintiff Bar" by The National Law Journal

Jennifer has been involved in many of the most significant trials in the Eastern District of Texas in recent years.  Her successes at trial have earned her a reputation as a jury whisperer.

Collectively, since 2014, Jennifer has played an important role on McKool Smith trial teams that have secured eight “Top 100 Verdicts,” including a $525M qui tam/whistleblower verdict for the United States/Joshua Harman; a $131M antitrust verdict for Red Lion Medical Safety; a $75M patent infringement verdict for Ericsson; a $506M and $300M patent infringement verdict for PanOptis; a $303M and $445M patent infringement verdict on behalf of Netlist; and a $142M patent damages verdict on behalf of G+ Communications.

Jennifer has a record of victories in high-stakes intellectual property disputes that truly sets her apart as one of the leading IP lawyers in Texas and across the nation. Her trial victories include helping to secure a $525M verdict against Trinity Industries after a Texas jury determined the company defrauded the USA by making false statements concerning a guardrail system. She served on the team that secured a $142 million patent damages verdict on standard essential patents on behalf of G+ Communications after Samsung had previously been found to have infringed G+'s patents essential to the 5G standard with various products from its Galaxy line of mobile phones. Most recently Jennifer served as trial counsel for Netlist in securing a $445 million patent infringement verdict against Micron.

Along with her courtroom successes, Jennifer is an active mentor among McKool Smith’s female lawyers and helps to lead the Firm’s Women’s Leadership Development Program.
