In the November 16, 2012 issue of Asset-Backed Alert, McKool Smith Principal Robert Scheef provides comments in an article about the anticipated volume of representations and warranties (reps-and-warrants) expected in 2013. According to the article, mortgage-bond investors are preparing a final wave of lawsuits claiming they lost money because issuers violated deals’ reps-and-warrants.
