McKool Smith’s recent patent holder PTAB victories include securing a complete defense win for Parallel Networks in an inter partes review trial against Microsoft and IBM concerning the validity of two Parallel Networks patents. The patents-in-suit were directed to systems and methods for managing dynamic web page generation requests. In the PTAB’s final decisions (available here), the Board found that Microsoft and IBM failed to prove the unpatentability of any of the Parallel Networks patent claims at issue in the proceedings.
