One of the most significant developments in federal criminal law over the past decade has been the increasingly international reach of the U.S. Department of Justice’s investigative and prosecutorial efforts.  In an article published in Law360 titled “Expansion of DOJ’s International Reach on the Horizon,” New York principal Daniel Levy explores complications arising from the government serving foreign corporations with a summons, and the proposed changes that are to be considered by the larger Criminal Rules Advisory Committee in April 2014.
