Overview

Josh Jones is an associate in McKool Smith's Houston office. He is a versatile litigator with a wide range of experience. Prior to joining the firm, Josh developed his acumen as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Hal R. Ray, Jr., United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Texas, and the Hon. Mark T. Pittman, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas. Before clerking, Josh worked for the legal team with the Georgia Governor’s Office of Policy & Budget. With prior positions as a legal researcher for the United Nations and NATO, Josh draws upon an array of experiences to help find solutions to clients' complex litigation needs, whether domestic or global. 

Josh attended Baylor University and the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Josh excelled academically and served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, among other leadership positions.
