Overview
Michael Catapano is an associate in McKool Smith's New York office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience as an extern for the Deputy Chief of the Eastern District of New York's U.S. Attorney's office and as a judicial intern with the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Michael attended St. John's University School of Law where he served as a Staff Member for the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development. Prior to law school, Michael received several football honors from Princeton University and was the first Princeton University athlete in over a decade to be drafted to the National Football League where he played five years as a defensive end/outside linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs, the New York Jets, and the Houston Texans.
